Chapter One – Down the Rabbit Hole: Alice, a seven-year-old girl, is feeling bored and drowsy while sitting on the riverbank with her elder sister. She eats a cake with “EAT ME” written on it in currants as the chapter closes.
Here's an idea, ask your child to make up a tale about what is happening in the scene and fire up their imagination. You will also find that little moments of praise from you can really all add up to a kids sense of self worth and confidence in later life.
