Following Henson’s death, veteran Muppet performer Steve Whitmire was named Kermit’s new performer. In 2017, Whitmire seemed to imply in a blog post that Henson had asked him to assume the role before he died, though Henson’s daughter Cheryl claimed Brian had selected him after her father’s death. Whitmire’s first public performance as Kermit was at the end of the television special The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson in 1990. He remained Kermit’s principal performer until 2016. Disney announced that Matt Vogel would be taking over as the performer of Kermit on July 10, 2017. Whitmire later revealed that he had not chosen to voluntarily leave the role, but rather had been dismissed by The Muppets Studio in October 2016. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter later in July 2017, Whitmire elaborated he was fired for two reasons: long-term creative disagreements over Kermit’s characterization and prolonged labor union negotiations that delayed his involvement in Muppet-related productions.

They may not be familiar with the ways that using coloring pages can help their little ones to improve their skills towards writing. As children practice coloring, their abilities to stay within the lines improve over time. This focused ability to control the pencils or crayons precisely is an important part of being able to hold a writing instrument still and steady for when it is time to draw the letters of the alphabet. Artistic abilities are cultivated and strengthened in children who do well at coloring pages. Besides this, they will find it easier to start writing their alphabet letters when the time for this comes.

Why Children's Coloring Pages are Important – Today's children still love coloring just as much as the Old People used to when they were children. In addition to this fact, it's now known that coloring is a wondrous pre-reading activity which helps children develop the hand-eye coordination they'll need for learning how to write. Parents who encourage the use of children's coloring pages are also encouraging an array of other development skills including decision making, patience, persistence, and creativity. Children's coloring pages on the Internet offer a greater assortment of subject matter than the books in the stores can, and if your children want printed coloring books you can fire up that printer of yours and create a customized, one of a kind coloring book for your child. It only takes a few minutes to print out several coloring pages, and these lead to hours of entertainment and brain stimulation for your child.

Coloring Pages of Disney: Mostly kids know about the Disney pages and cards, thus happily buy from the stores, to affix on their coloring notebook. Who is your child`s favorite star? It may be Donald or Minnie. Crazy to think our parents grew up watching their shows, we do too and now our kids continue the tradition. They really put family values first. So you can always count on Disney coloring-pages to cheer kids up. Even if they aren`t big into the classic characters and might prefer to see the hot new characters.
