All Gospels agree that Jesus held a Last Supper with his disciples prior to dying on a Friday at or just before the time of Passover (annually on 15 Nisan, the official Jewish day beginning at sunset) and that his body was left in the tomb for the whole of the next day, which was a Shabbat (Saturday). [Mk. 15:42][16:1–2] However, while the Synoptic Gospels present the Last Supper as a Passover meal,[Matt. 26:17][Mk. 14:1–2][Lk 22:1–15] the Gospel of John makes no explicit mention that the Last Supper was a Passover meal and presents the official Jewish Passover feast as beginning in the evening a few hours after the death of Jesus. John thus implies that the Friday of the crucifixion was the day of preparation for the feast (14 Nisan), not the feast itself (15 Nisan), and astronomical calculations of ancient Passover dates initiated by Isaac Newton, and posthumously published in 1733, support John’s chronology.
Adult Coloring is on the Rise: Trends indicate that one of our greatest and simplest pastimes - coloring - has become a sudden and quick-growing interest for adults. With the increasing demand, the industry for adult coloring pages, books, and supplies is on the rise. In fact, 5 out of the Top 20 Bestselling Books on Amazon are actually Adult Coloring Books.
While coloring pages may seem simple in the minds of parents and other adults these days, they are often the passport into a more creative style of play. Yes, your child will simply color the picture online, but by doing so, she is learning not only to stay inside the lines, but to balance color and texture and to simply use her imagination. If a coloring page for kids is the first step into a full-fledged imagination based entertainment package, it is unlikely many parents will find them simple for long. If you are a school teacher or just a busy parent, Thanksgiving color pages can be a lifesaver when you are looking for a way to keep your child occupied for a certain period of time. You can find holiday pages in many places on the Internet that are free for download directly to your printer.
Another advantage of coloring pages is that they provide your child with the chance to strengthen their hand eye coordination, as they learn to color in the lines. This skill will develop gradually as they go from struggling to stay inside the lines, to perfecting this fine motor activity. The last benefit I would like to discuss, actually consists of two advantages. Coloring allows your child’s creativity to blossom, but it also provides insight into a child’s emotions, and often child psychologists will utilize this tool to learn more about a child’s feelings or frame of mind at a particular time. This is another great benefit of coloring for children, it can help you to understand how exactly your child feels at any given time.
Coloring pages can provide richness by providing pictures of numbers, letters, animals, and text, so that your child will broaden their knowledge in a number of areas. Your child will receive the greatest educational benefit when the coloring internet pages bring all of these elements collectively, such as when there is a picture of an animal with it has the name written on the webpage, or when numbers are shown with the name in the number written out, or even a two-sided coloring page with 1 side showing the standard, number or word, and the other side of the web page depicting an animal whose form resembles the letter or perhaps number on the previous webpage. Take for example a coloring webpage that has a number one, along with a giraffe that is reminiscent of a number one in it's shape. Your child does not only have fun coloring the number and animal, but their lesson will also include writing the number one and being introduced to a giraffe.
