Adult Coloring is on the Rise: Trends indicate that one of our greatest and simplest pastimes - coloring - has become a sudden and quick-growing interest for adults. With the increasing demand, the industry for adult coloring pages, books, and supplies is on the rise. In fact, 5 out of the Top 20 Bestselling Books on Amazon are actually Adult Coloring Books.
Coloring Pages of Disney. Mostly kids know about the Disney pages and cards, thus happily buy from the stores, to affix on their coloring notebook. Who is your child’s favorite star? It may be Donald or Minnie. Crazy to think our parents grew up watching their shows, we do too and now our kids continue the tradition. They really put family values first. So you can always count on Disney coloring-pages to cheer kids up. Even if they aren’t big into the classic characters and might prefer to see the hot new characters. If so then you should try and get some Buzz Lightyear or maybe Tiger.
Occasionally, you'll find official cartoon or TV character sites (such as PBS programs) will make available coloring pages for free to their fans. And there are many other sites that distribute coloring pages of those copyrighted characters. Sounds like dangerous legal ground ...but, surprisingly, I've never heard of any of these sites being prosecuted for copyright infringement. So they'll probably continue to make them available.
You would think that after your child has completed their masterpiece that would be the end. Well it's not over yet! Teaching your little one(s) to actually search for their own coloring pages introduces children to the Internet. By teaching them to do so your little one will develop hand eye coordination by using the keyboard and mouse. Their skills on how to search for the information that they are looking for will prove to be invaluable in latter years. Before long I'm sure your child will start to teach you a thing or two about the Internet that you didn't know.
